- On April 9, 1993 , the Colorado Rockies set a record for fans in attendance at a Opening Day game . 80,227 baseball fans came to see the first game ever at Mile High Stadium.
- Three players for this club have won the National League batting championship. They are Andres Galarraga, Larry Walker, and Todd Helton.
- The club has played in 2 stadiums in it's brief life. They started life at Mile High Stadium, and then quickly moved to Coors Field in 1995.
- In April of 2000, the club opened in Georgia with only 6 players left over from the 1999 Opener, this is thought to be the biggest turnover in professional team sports from one year to the next.

- On 9/17/96 Hideo Nomo of the Dodgers ball club threw the 1st no-hitter in the history of Coors Field. It was the second time the club had been no hit that year giving the franchise the dubious honor of the being the only club to be no hit 2 times in the same season and then go on to win the team batting championship. Also in 1996 the following occured:
* Mr. M Ovitz handed in his resignation as Disney's # 2 man in a suit.
* "Smokey Joe's Cafe" won the Grammy Award for Best Musical.
