| San Francisco Giants Jerseys: |
- The San Francisco Giants have a long and storied history. So much so that numerous jerseys and caps are on display in Cooperstown, NY. These include:
* A bat used by Barry Bonds in the 2002 World Series.
* Giants' jerseys worn by Hall of Famer Bill Terry.
* Jerseys worn by Barry Bonds and his son Nikolai (Giants batboy) during 2001.
* Ball that Mel Ott hit for his 500th career home run.
* Jerseys worn by Hall of Famer Travis Jackson.
* 1899 player contract signed by Christy Mathewson.
- When the Giants moved from NY in 1958, they retained the same uniform look as their New York uniforms, replacing the "New York" with "San Francisco" and "NY" with "SF" on the cap fronts.
- in 1977 the Giants went along with MLB's style change, and made the switch from the usual button down top and belted pants to a pullover shirt and trousers with no belt. They also went for new logos, using a handwritten style "Giants" in orange and black on the fronts, a number on the front and also an alternate home look done in black. The road look was orange and included a block city name on the front with uniform number.
- In 2000, the change stayed in keeping with the "traditional but modern" theme that reflected the traditional look from the past, while utilizing a 21st century accent. For their home look, they no longer put the players' names on the back and the colour changed to white from cream, which was a colour used during their history. Also, the font on the uniforms is close to the one used through this clubs history.
- Retired uniforms or numbers include Christy Mathewson's who didn't wear a number, John McGraw - who also didn't wear a number. #3 - Bill Terry, #4 - Mel Ott, #11 - Carl Hubbell, #24 - Willie Mays, #27 - Juan Marichal, #30 - Orlando Cepeda, and finally #44 - worn by Willie McCovey.

This list is only a partial list.
- Former home run kings include Buck Ewing, Mike Tiernan, Mike Tiernan, Red Murray, Dave Robertson, George Kelly, Mel Ott, Johnny Mize, Willie Mays, Orlando Cepeda, Willie McCovey, Kevin Mitchell, Barry Bonds, and Matt Williams.
